Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as a baseline for our website. Accessibility is treated as part of how we build, not an afterthought, and we review it as the site and platform evolve.
What we do
- Use semantic, structured HTML so content works with assistive technology.
- Provide a visible skip-to-content link and a clear, consistent heading order.
- Maintain strong colour contrast and legible, scalable text.
- Support keyboard navigation with visible focus states.
- Respect the "reduce motion" setting, so animations ease off for those who prefer it.
- Write descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
Where we know we can do better
No website is ever perfectly accessible, and we will not pretend otherwise. Some third-party content and embedded forms may not yet meet the same standard as the rest of the site. We treat any issue you report as a priority and fix it as quickly as we can.
Tell us about a problem
If you come across anything that is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone on 0161 560 6239. Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and we will come back to you and put it right.
